We used some heavy machinery to dig lagoons at the size specified by the farmer, with the soil we moved being used to form the bunds around the outside of the lagoons.
This was a major operation and done in conjunction with the construction of a crop storage area in a site measuring over four acres. To create the storage facility vast amounts of soil were moved to drop the level down to that required for concreting.
A challenging and enjoyable project and everything went smoothly!
In Summary
A fairly big project which involved using heavy plant moving a huge amount of soil, which required a good amount of planning. Everyone was happy and all went smoothly and according to plan.
